In September 2019, we opened Re.Work.It because we wanted to offer local people who we support more paid employment, training or volunteering opportunities in a supportive environment.
You don’t need an appointment, just pop in! We avoid waste by recycling any items that are not suitable for sale with another local charity or clothes bank. Nothing is ever sent to landfill.
We get many more items generously offered to us than we are able to sell!
As a guide, all items of clothing and accessories should be in immaculate ‘as new’ condition, with no stains, blemishes or other damage, and not tainted by smoke or other odours.
Currently we don’t sell children’s clothing/accessories; men’s suits; bridalwear; or any underwear/undergarments.
The team carefully research the resale value of pre-loved designer, vintage or unique items to ensure that you are getting the best value for money when you shop with us.
Benefits for the customer are you are able to earn money for unwanted items. 50% of the sale goes directly to the charity, 50% to you, enabling us to keep providing stellar services to those we support. The minimum sale value is £50.00, as agreed on point of donation.
People can donate by making an appointment, by either completing and submitting the form online or in-store, or phoning us on the number below
Appointments must be confirmed by telephone and email.
